Every studio platform is a set of assumptions somebody else made. We know, because we went looking for one — and ended up building Ida instead.

“We have had such a positive experience with IDA OS. From the beginning, their team has taken the time to truly understand how our studio operates and what we need from our software. They have gone above and beyond to customize the system to fit the specific way our studio is structured, rather than expecting us to change our processes to fit the software.
What has impressed us most is how responsive and willing their team has been to listen, make adjustments, and find solutions that work for us. It really feels like we have a team behind the software that is invested in helping our studio succeed. IDA OS has already made managing our studio easier, more organized, and more streamlined.”

Gott-Hughton is a real championship studio in Calgary — dozens of families, multiple levels, competitions, rentals, privates. Before Ida we did what every independent does: cheques and e-transfers, a calendar in Canva, and a long look at every platform anyone recommended.
Each one got maybe eighty percent of the way. Then the last twenty percent — how we actually charge, how our week actually moves — simply wasn't in there, and nobody was going to add it. Every option was the least bad option.
So we stopped shopping and built the thing we needed. Ida ran our studio before it was ever sold to anyone else's.

Ask for the one thing you actually need.
The normal answer to “can you make it work this way?” — a ticket, a wait, then a roadmap. We had that answer too. It is why Ida exists.
That is the honest thing nobody in this market says. Building Ida for our own studio made it obvious: independent studios aren't variations on a template. The levels, the rates, the season, the household rules — the differences are the business. Ship one fixed shape to a thousand studios and most of them end up living in the gap.
And that gap is expensive. It looks like the discount you now apply by hand, the fee you stopped charging because the software had no box for it, the spreadsheet open beside the dashboard, the season you rebuild every year to keep their rules happy. It never shows up as a line item. It just takes your evenings.
So we don't treat that as an edge case or a paid services engagement. When Ida doesn't match your studio, we change Ida — not your prices, not your week.

Your studio. Your week.

A sibling discount that didn't have a box. A week that had to move. A fee billed to a whole class. These are things we actually built — not a roadmap.
