Card fees

The online fee, explained

Families pay by card through Stripe, at Stripe’s standard 2.9% + $0.30. Ida OS adds no markup. If you’d rather not absorb it, turn on the Online fee: families who pay by card cover the processing, and your listed price reaches you in full.

The things studio owners ask first

  • Is there a per-student fee?

    No. Most studio software charges by student count, so your bill climbs every time you grow, and inactive students often still count. Ida OS is one flat price for unlimited students, monthly or annual.

  • Monthly or annual: what’s the difference?

    Same product either way. Monthly is the list price for your currency with no commitment. Annual is 10% off, billed yearly. You can switch between them anytime from your studio settings.

  • Which currencies can we pay in?

    USD, CAD, GBP or EUR, at fixed list prices. Choose your currency when you subscribe; it stays locked for renewals.

  • What about payment processing fees?

    Tuition and one-time charges run through Stripe, and Stripe’s standard processing fees are billed by Stripe directly. Ida OS doesn’t add a markup on top. Turn on the Online fee if you’d like families who pay by card to cover it.

  • We rent space across several studios. Does that cost extra?

    No. Multiple studios and multiple owners are included in the flat price. That’s normal for independent studios, not an enterprise add-on.

  • How hard is switching?

    Paste or upload the roster, invite families to the portal, and we help with plans and the week, whether you’re coming from a spreadsheet or studio software. Already on another system? The payment cutover is the part we walk on a demo. How switching works.

  • Can we cancel?

    Anytime. Your families, payments and records are yours: export your data and leave whenever you want.
