Asked to sign in with an email Ida doesn't know? You'll hear back
Until now, asking for a sign-in code or a password reset with an email address that has no Ida login left your inbox silent. Now that address gets one short note saying there's no Ida login for it yet — your studio may have you under a different address, so ask them, or sign in with the email they invited. It works from your studio's sign-in screen, the iPhone app, and the main Ida OS site alike, and an address that already has a login keeps getting its reset or code as usual.

Card disputes are on your books the moment they happen
When a family's bank disputes a card payment, Ida now tells every admin right away — by email and push, with the amount, what Stripe took back, the dispute fee, and the date to respond by — and the payment reads 'Disputed' instead of 'Paid' on the web and in the iPhone app. Whatever the dispute holds comes off your collected totals everywhere, the fee counts with your Stripe fees, and winning puts it all back; disputes waiting on your answer also sit under Home's 'Needs you' until you've responded in Stripe.

Ida can take over terms you typed in by hand
'Let Ida bill their terms' now works for families whose past quarters or terms were entered by hand at an older price. Instead of leaving the family with you, the preview lists those hand-typed terms with the monthly rate each one works out to and asks whether that's what the family was billed — on the web, in the iPhone app, or by asking Ida. Confirm the rate (or correct it) and Ida starts their next term exactly where the last payment ended, at today's prices, with no month billed twice or skipped.

A tuition bill whose price changed now says why
When a family has paid part of a tuition bill and the price then changes — a class added or dropped, or a discount — the remaining amount already updates itself to the cent. Now it also explains itself, with a plain line like 'Updated price: $120 for the month, $30 already paid' — on the family's Payments on the web and in the iPhone app, on the payment's detail for staff, and in Ida's answer when anyone asks about the bill — so an amount that moved never goes unexplained.

A family's card is only ever charged once for a tuition month
Every way a tuition card charge can start — the early bird charge on the cutoff morning, a family paying on the web or in the iPhone app, and staff charging the saved card — now checks one shared guard before touching the card, so two of them can never collect the same month, even when they start in the same moment. And in the rare case two card payments do cross, the extra one is refunded back to the family's card on its own, with the ledger reading it paid and then refunded — nothing for anyone to chase.
